Help for Maciek
Dear Friends !
Our son, Maciek, who is two years old, was born with an inborn defect of his left leg.
The boy has an undeveloped hip joint and an underdeveloped thigh bone, because of which his leg is more than a dozen centimeters shorter.
Maciek needs a prosthetic appliance and a daily rehabilitation to move nearly normally. The medical equipment offered to us by NFZ (Polish National Health System) is hardly functional and very uncomfortable.
Our child doesn’t want to walk in the hard and heavy prosthetic appliance which encompasses his whole limb and his hip. Unfortunately, an appliance made of parts of better quality, the one which our child could accept costs more than a dozen of thousands zlotys. It needs to be changed on average every fifteen months, as the child grows
Because of these reasons we ask you for help with raising money for the prosthetic appliances as well as for our son’s upcoming, necessary operations and the long-lasting rehabilitation. It isn’t easy to ask somebody for financial support but we do know, that we don’t do it for ourselves, but for Him
